SUMMARY
The Business Insights & Analytics Intern will support the Business Strategy & Analytics (BSA) team by transforming data into clear, actionable insights that inform decision‑making across the organization. This role blends advanced analytics and data science techniques with foundational business analysis, requiring strong analytical thinking, curiosity and the ability to communicate insights to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. The intern will partner closely with BSA teammates to scope problems, gather requirements and deliver insights that drive measurable business impact.

GENERAL INFORMATION
All internships are hourly, paid positions. Interns are responsible for their own housing, travel, and relocation expenses. A background check will be conducted prior to employment start date.

- Analyze structured, semi‑structured and unstructured data to identify trends, patterns and opportunities, translating findings into actionable business insights and recommendations
- Apply advanced analytics and data science techniques (e.g., statistical analysis, predictive modeling, segmentation) where appropriate, alongside foundational business analysis methods
- Support data cleaning, validation and curation efforts to ensure high‑quality, analysis‑ready datasets for reporting and insight generation
- Partner with stakeholders to scope analytical problems, gather business requirements and define success metrics aligned to organizational objectives
- Develop clear, compelling analyses and visualizations that effectively communicate insights to technical and non‑technical audiences
- Assist with ad hoc analyses, data cleaning, dashboards and insight delivery in support of strategic initiatives

- Be currently enrolled as a junior, senior or recent graduate (within 6 months) from a college or university. Graduate school students are eligible to apply as well
- Coursework or experience in analytics, data science, statistics, economics, business, computer science or a related field
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data and synthesize findings into clear, actionable business insights; familiarity with SQL, Tableau, Python, Excel or similar tools is preferred
- Strong problem‑solving, communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment
- Demonstrated initiative, intellectual curiosity and a self‑starter mindset, with experience navigating ambiguity and taking ownership of work in an environment that translates to a professional sports business setting
