Job Title: Systems Administrator Department: Information Technology Reports To: Director of IT / Information Security Officer SUMMARY We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled IT Systems Administrator to manage and maintain our enterprise IT infrastructure across the Virginia Mason Athletic Center (VMAC) and Lumen Field. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance and security of on-premises and cloud-based systems. The ideal candidate is a proactive, security-minded professional who combines deep technical expertise with a collaborative mindset and exceptional end-user support skills. This position will play a key role in the technical design, implementation and maintenance of core IT systems, while also supporting organizational operations including gamedays, stadium events and other mission-critical activities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate and maintain physical and virtual server environments, including performance tuning, patch management, hardware failure recovery and upgrades
Administer Microsoft 365 services including Intune and Purview
Manage core infrastructure services: Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and GPOs
Administer SAN storage environments (Nimble, Synology, Quantum)
Deploy and manage two-factor authentication solutions (Duo, Okta)
Collaborate with InfoSec team to identify and remediate system vulnerabilities
Advocate strong information security practices and ensure compliance with PCI-DSS, HIPAA, PII and NFL ISRI requirements
Provide responsive, end-to-end user support for hardware, software, printers and mobile device issues
Provide 24/7 availability for critical operations, including support for upgrades and stadium events
Travel as required for training, conferences or league events
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Information Technology
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
5+ years of hands-on IT systems administration experience in enterprise environments
3+ years of experience with Microsoft 365 administration including Intune and Purview
Advanced proficiency in PowerShell scripting and system automation
Relevant certifications strongly preferred (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Microsoft 365 (e.g., MS-102) or Security (e.g., CISSP))
Knowledge of system hardening using industry standard benchmarks
Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders
Strong problem-solving, adaptability and collaboration skills

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The salary range for this position is: $90,000 – $120,000. The salary range applies to the current posting. The posted salary range may vary based on key factors including, but not limited to, education, job-related knowledge, experience and skill set.
