Job Title: 01 Electrician Department: Facilities Reports To: Director of Facilities FLSA Status: Non-Exempt SUMMARY The primary function of this position is to ensure all electrical installations, both temporary and permanent, meet the needs of events at Lumen Field and Lumen Field Event Center/WaMu Theater. This position will be the point of contact to plan, coordinate, install or contract installation of temporary event power for over 150 events each year at the venues. This position will be required to work varied hours and/or days depending on event schedules. This position is also responsible for electrical system maintenance, repair or installation, with particular focus on functions requiring 01 Level certification such as installation of new electrical equipment and infrared scanning. The 01 Level Electrician is a skilled, licensed trade person responsible for evaluating, repairing and replacing a variety of electrical facility components to ensure the equipment is fully operational and meets regulatory and leasehold standards. As needed, this position will be involved in corrective and preventive maintenance and minor alteration work and may oversee temporary labor and/or other trades persons or contractors as required. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Identify electrical requirements for events; coordinating with event managers, event holders, Facilities team and contractors
Provide cost estimates and/or work with contractors to obtain cost estimates for temporary or permanent event power installations
Oversee contractors who deploy temporary or permanent event power
Provide event-day electrical support, including responding to issues and coordinating contractor response
Maintain and oversee the use of FGI-owned temporary power equipment, including inventory control
Develop and place material/equipment/supply orders to conduct work in a timely manner
Perform repairs of any equipment that may be deemed as unsafe during events. This may include lighting, equipment, cords, spider boxes, etc.
Proactively check and run diagnostics on electrical systems. Work in cooperation with contractors to perform regular testing and maintenance, including arc flash testing and IR scanning
Troubleshoot, diagnose and correct electrical malfunctions. Ensure facility systems are operating properly according to performance specifications. Identify contract work needs
Repair, in conjunction with other engineering personnel if necessary, electrical equipment and circuits
Maintain adequate spare parts and supplies. Maintain equipment and supply inventory records
Provide input on standard operating procedures. Follow preventive maintenance schedule for all electrical machinery, equipment and wiring
Perform new installations upon request
Perform repairs of the fire alarm system as assigned
Perform lighting scheduling functions as needed using stadium proprietary software programs in both stadium (bowl, suites and venue spaces) and event center
Perform set-up and tear down of electrical needs for private and public events
Assist in resolving event electrical contract issues
Report any irregularities or damage to supervisor

Ability and willingness to work an event-driven schedule including weekend, evening and some holiday hours
Experience in a high-volume, service-driven environment
Knowledge of and compliance with federal and state OSHA regulations including fire and safety
Complete Facilities Department cross-training and stay up to date on cross training items to ensure ability to provide event and emergency response support as needed
Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, gators and carts
As needed, assist other maintenance personnel to perform a variety of trades work, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, mechanical system maintenance and general building maintenance
Attend weekly operations meetings to stay informed of upcoming events and special needs that may arise
Act as a point of contact for contractors
Provide input during design/planning stages of projects and by providing technical oversight as needed during construction
Support facility events as a representative of Engineering, as assigned
Uses Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to document and track all work activities, time and materials. Ensures that all work orders and all other required documentation related to electrical work is fully completed in a timely fashion
Ability to use computerized timekeeping system
Must have experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required
Electrician license required; EL01 required
Approved accredited post-secondary vocational or technical school diploma preferred
4+ years of event power support preferred
4+ years of electrical experience
2+ years of experience in a commercial facility. 4+ years of experience (preferred)
Thorough understanding of all electrician safety requirements, including use of personal protective equipment, lock-out/tag-out procedures
Familiar with fall protection procedures, equipment and technique
Ability to remain flexible in terms of work assignments and scheduled to meet the needs of events and the facilities
Willing to work extended and/or irregular hours including weekends and holidays when needed
Understands and adheres to First & Goal Inc. employee policies and procedures

Works well in a team setting. Ability to adapt to department needs and supports all department and organizational goals
Self-motivated with excellent organization and planning abilities
Above average oral and written communication skills with ability to maintain strong documentation
General knowledge in all areas of facility management/engineering/construction
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 (preferred) certification, candidate can also obtain within 6 months from date of hire
