SUMMARY
The Seattle Seahawks are looking for a creative, content-focused storyteller to join their Marketing department. The Marketing Manager will serve as a liaison between our creators (design, video, social) and business stakeholders (Corporate Partnerships, Community, DEI), leading a significant amount of project management for each respective group. This role will brainstorm, coordinate, execute and report on campaigns that support internal and partner initiatives. Examples of campaigns that this role will work on include NFL Salute to Service, Seahawks Flag Football, 50/50 Raffle, Inspire Change, Delta 12Status, My Cause My Cleats and more.
This position requires someone who has experience with content creation and knows how to generate ideas that will effectively engage audiences and be feasible to execute within the allotted time and resources. The Marketing Manager will also need strong communication skills across internal and external stakeholders and be able to represent the Seahawks brand and its best interests in conversations with people with various backgrounds, companies, job titles and more.  
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Campaign Development & Management
  • Serve as the main liaison between creators and business stakeholder departments such as Corporate Partnerships, Community, DEI, Content and others as assigned
  • Translate stakeholder goals and objectives into marketing campaigns, content and/or activation ideas that align with the Seahawks brand and priorities
  • Work with the Corporate Partnerships team to align partners with existing Seahawks campaigns, content and initiatives. When appropriate, ideate custom solutions that meet both Seahawks and partner objectives
  • Work with the Community Engagement and DEI teams to ideate new, effective and efficient ways of storytelling and driving awareness of Seahawks commitments and initiatives
  • Work with the Video Production team to build promotional campaigns that drive viewership and engagement with long-form content
  • Coordinate fulfillment of campaign assets with creators, including briefing creators on campaign objectives, collaborating with creators to brainstorm and gathering input, outlining specific assets needing to be developed, setting deadlines/expectations for deliverables and ensuring all appropriate stakeholders have reviewed and approved final assets
  • Write promotional copy for campaign assets
  • Support Sales team in the development of proposals, including participation in group and individual brainstorming sessions to ideate new and creative sponsorship programs that the sales team will take to corporate partner prospects
  • Ensure regular communication and alignment between creators and business stakeholders so that everyone is aware of new potential opportunities to support revenue generation and other business goals for the company
  • Manage and regularly update the corporate partnership asset tracker tool to communicate available programs, content and assets for partners to support
  • Help ensure all assets comply with NFL and NFLPA policies and guidelines
  • Input and tag all necessary information into company’s project management system for tracking and coordination across departments
  • Recap and report out on results of campaigns, in collaboration with the Business Strategy & Analytics team
  • Provide weekly status updates on upcoming, in-progress and recently completed projects, including clearly communicating when projects are at risk

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s degree; plus, 2-4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with the ability to meet deadlines, multi-task and prioritize
  • Experience managing corporate partner and/or brand agency assets and objectives
  • Strong creative ideation skills
  • Strong familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel
  • Experience using project management tools (Wrike) is strongly preferred
  • Sports industry experience is strongly preferred
LANGUAGE SKILLS
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
  • The salary range for this position is: $68,000 – $80,000. The salary range applies to the current posting. The posted salary range may vary based on key factors including, but not limited to, education, job-related knowledge, experience and skill set.
