Job Title: Part Time Box Office Associate Department: Ticket Operations Reports To: Ticket Operations Manager Rate: $22.75/hour SUMMARY The Box Office Associate assists patrons in-person and on the phone with customer service, single ticket sales, will-call, exchanges and related services. We are looking for candidates who demonstrate outstanding customer service, attention to detail, who are team players, enthusiastic and bring a positive attitude! Attendance and punctuality are imperative, as well as adjusting to a flexible schedule to accommodate event hours. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist walk-up customers with their ticket purchase to venue event(s)
Provide general venue information to patrons
Handle customer ticket issues or appropriately escalate to other personnel as needed
Process and distribute will call during events
Answer patron questions promptly, accurately, respectfully and thoroughly
Possess strong computer and typing skills
Contribute to a positive, supportive team environment
Ability to make decisions during high-pressure situations

Experience in customer service and/or guest relations
Ticketing experience, specifically Ticketmaster software is a plus
Able to work in an upbeat and often fast-paced environment
Organizational skills: the ability to multi-task, remain calm in a busy work environment and ability to maintain a high level attention to detail
High school diploma (or GED) and be 18 years of age or older
Must live local and be able to attend scheduled events

This position is event-based. The average hours are dependent upon the venue event calendar
Ability to work a flexible schedule including some nights, holidays and weekends
