Job Title: Broadcasting/Communications Summer Intern Department: Broadcasting Reports To: Executive Producer SUMMARY The Broadcasting Summer Intern will be responsible for assisting the Broadcasting/Communications Department in a variety of duties including but not limited to; editing weekly press conferences, coordinating player interviews, podcast creation, assist with weekly programming on radio and TV and select gameday responsibilities. This intern will play an important role in the department’s daily workload during the preseason. We are looking for a responsible, organized, hardworking and detailed individual who would like to gain experience in the Broadcasting and sports industry. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Responsible for editing audio from daily press conferences and interviews during training camp and preseason
Assorted gameday duties include escorting and coordinating pregame interviews, pregame show desk set-up, in game statistics and postgame press conference responsibilities
Assist with podcast creation, recording and editing for multiple platforms
Assist with video podcast editing
Coordinate and execute player/coach interviews with Club and external media
Contribute to gameday rundowns, notes, formats and live read drop-ins
Assist with training camp set up for Club and external media, and training camp live programming
Contribute to weekly programming for Video and Audio Productions
Assist with audio set-up for every press conference at the Virginia Mason Athletic Center
Must be willing to help staff with occasional evening and weekend Broadcasting/PR events

Be currently enrolled as a junior, senior or recent graduate (within 6 months) from a college or university. Graduate school students are eligible to apply as well
Experience with Adobe Audition or other audio editing programs
Ability to edit audio quickly and efficiently
Video editing experience (Adobe Premiere preferred)
Experience with Adobe Photoshop
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
Ability to multi-task, while keeping a calm demeanor in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of the Seattle Seahawks
Knowledge of main social media platforms
Ability to work non-traditional hours and weekends
Have a current driver’s license
